Simple Lavender Milk Bath

Last Saturday I met some good friends in a super cute little tea shop in downtown Chattanooga, TN – Wildflower Tea Shop & Apothecary – if you’re ever in Chattanooga, I highly recommend checking it out! I was in the mood for something cozy and relaxing, and I LOVE Earl Grey tea, so I decided to try their Lavender London Fog. And OH MY WORD, it did not disappoint! When the server brought it to our table, everyone immediately whipped out their phones to take pictures of this beautiful cup of tea –

If you’ve never had fresh lavender sprinkled in your tea, seriously try it. It was so good, and reminded me a bit of the lavender ice cream I used to buy while living in Washington State.

Ok – on to the bath recipe! This yummy combination of Earl Grey, lavender, and almond milk reminded me of something else too – a peaceful lavender milk bath. This recipe is amazingly easy to throw together, and perfect for the end of a stressful day or night when you’re having trouble sleeping. Just thinking about it starts to calm my mind and melt away the troubles 🙂

Mix this up in a glass bowl, and toss in a warm/hot bath. It’s that easy!

1 cup baking soda

2 cups organic powdered whole milk

20 drops organic lavender essential oil

If you have them, add some fresh or dried lavender to the water as well. For no other reason that it’s just really beautiful and fun!

Keep in touch, and let me know what you think!

Happy bathing! Love, Melanie
